We want to make God's creative diversity and his love for us people visible and tangible through all artistic forms of expression.
Our art is shaped by values that respect people and all of creation. With our range of cultural platforms, we want to make a contribution to responsible coexistence and a life that can be experienced and fulfilled with all senses.
This motivates us
- to train artists as well as creative and interested people in their manual and spiritual skills,
- to lead them into their personal calling,
- to facilitate networking in order for them to inspire and encourage each other and
- to make them known by offering opportunities for the presentation of art.
Our ministry currently includes the following areas:
The Artists Night is an event open to the public at the Orangerie in Darmstadt, Germany inviting to a vibrant interaction of paintings, lyrics, photography and film, collage, installation, music and performance. The Artists Night is a place of beautiful and life-affirming, yet challenging and scrutinizing art to facilitate a reflection and a dialog about all the world and his brother, to enjoy and to savor.
At our cultural event in the old bakery, visitors enjoy music, singing, spoken word and more in a relaxed and personal atmosphere and can take the opportunity to get in contact with the artists.
In periodic meetings artists and artisans together discover and unfold their creative potential, strengthen their relationships with God as well as amongst themselves and grow beyond their limits.
For a variety of topics artists and artisans will discover new or strengthen existing skills, collectively and boundary transcending. This process will both challenge and encourage them to broaden their horizon by learning to think out of the box.
Polyptychon is an obligatory, interdisciplinary group of artists who meet regularly and exchange ideas, complement each other, challenge each other, work together, enjoy good food and art and implement joint projects.
We enjoy to support events and conferences of other Christian ministries and churches e.g. by
- art exhibitions
- serving with prophetic art
- live painting during worship
