ARTISTS NIGHT
The Artists' Night is a public event in the Orangery, a baroque building from 1719 in the heart of Darmstadt. It invites you to a vibrant interaction of paintings, poetry, photography and film, collage, installation, music and performance. It is a place of beautiful and life-affirming, challenging and questioning art that invites you to reflect about God and the world, to enjoy and to recharge your batteries.
The next Artists' Night takes place on June 29 and June 30, 2024.
"KUNSTFORELLE"
Artists and creative people from all disciplines meet to exchange ideas, network and build relationships, experiment and create art. They go on trips to events and exhibitions. At workshops and seminars on very different topics, they can discover, learn or deepen skills in a group and across disciplines. They are artistically challenged and encouraged to expand their own horizons through new thinking.
The dates of the "Kunstforelle" in 2024 are January 29, March 2, April 6, August 3, November 2 and November 30.

We organize exhibitions, often in collaboration with the Kunstraum Backstube in Darmstadt.
At our cultural event Backstube Live, visitors enjoy music, singing, spoken word and more in a relaxed and personal atmosphere in the old bakery and can talk to the artists performing.
Special events - such as the "Kunstforum" organized with OM Arts Germany - round off our portfolio of activities.

"Water is." We will be dealing with this topic at "Kunstforelle" on January 29, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. CET in preparation for the Artists' Night.
What is water to you personally? What speaks to you when you think about water? How do you look at and experience water, also in light of the global social context? What do you like most about water? How does water feel to you? Mankind has the obligation to care for and preserve planet earth including everything that grows and lives on it. An adequate water supply is essential. What if drinking water becomes scarce in Germany too?

8th Artists Night
Orangery Darmstadt
"Water is." This is our theme for the upcoming artists' night, which will take place on June 29 and 30, 2024 in the Orangery Darmstadt.
The sentence is a statement, an assertion. Water is indispensable, because without water there is no life. But there is a catch: only a small proportion of the available fresh water is actually usable. In addition, water is distributed unevenly around the world and billions of people have no access to clean water. But the fact is that plants, animals and people need water to live. With the theme "Water is." We want to deal with the importance of water as a resource and use our works of art to stimulate thought, ask questions and encourage hope.
